The TCT4K (Tai Chi Tigers for Kids) Programme

Doing Tai Chi makes a huge difference to the children – they ‘work’ in a different way & have a better attitude to each other and their tasks. I enjoy the exercise too
— Teacher at New Road, Sowerby Bridge.

This programme was written by a Primary school teacher with over 25 years of experience, and designed as a resource for teachers, and equally as a children’s independent learning resource facility.

A set of animal-based moves to enhance physical and mental ability in all ages.

Resources includes DVD, illustrated story cards, suggested moves for specific targets, and sample lesson plans.

Wake up - Morning Session to induce a calm and focussed mental state before daily tasks or ‘tests’.

After lunch - Refocus Session to calm the mind & body with improved mental focus.

Mentor programme for mixed ages - child-led activity using reference cards.
